Infectious disease & COVID-19 Policies & Procedures

My safety practices

To best protect our Milkweed community, I run an air purifier at all times in the treatment room and sanitize touched surfaces between patient appointments. I am fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19, and I often wear a medical-grade KN95 mask in the clinic.

Masking

If patients are feeling symptomatic or have recently been exposed to someone who is sick, I ask that they wear a mask for the duration of their session. Please consider wearing a KN95 mask or similar. I have masks available for use, as well, if needed.

Please do not come in for your appointment if:

  1. You are feeling acutely sick.

  2. You have tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days and have not yet received a negative rapid antigen test.

  3. You have recently been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

Telemedicine

I will not be able to see you in-person if you are feeling sick, have COVID-19 or flu, or have recently been exposed to someone with COVID-19.

In these instances, I’m happy to see you for a telemedicine appointment to offer herbal treatment/prevention and acupressure points.
